Here is a video of John Gray speaking at Google. He speaks about testosterone in men and how it is released by problem solving and helps men relax. He mentions that men die on average a year after retiring from their jobs because they are no longer solving problems and getting their testosterone fix. They have low testosterone levels and then get a heart attack. Women on the other hand are not relaxed by testosterone, they relax with oxytocin but that arises in women in very different circumstances to how testosterone arises in men. It is important to understand how and when oxytocin arises in women. It arises from the activity of giving love, nurturing. And the inhibitor of oxytocin production is not enough time. But there is a lot more in this video than there is in my quick summary.

The Five Languages of Love
Although many people are aware of the 5 languages of love, thus really should be part of popular culture. The more people who understand this and can apply it, the happier people will be. Here is a little 6 min video about it.
These 5 love languages were discovered by Dr Gary Chapman who as a therapist discovered that people would complain that they were never loved, despite the practicalities of the relationship. He realized that they were unaware that the other party was speaking a different love language.
Here is an interview with Gary Chapman about his 5 love languages:
And here is a link to his website: www.5lovelanguages.com
We are all simple beings and we all work with one love language but we can all learn to speak another. The love language we need to learn is that of our partner.

Why Long Hair and Long Beards should be normal for all men
It was discovered in the Vietnam War that Indian trackers used by the US army became non-functional when they were given the regulation hair cut by the US military. Eventually they recruited more trackers and let these guys keep their hair and beards. These trackers who kept their hair and beards were functional as trackers for the US army.
The history of these events is given in this website:

The great Fructose scandal in Europe
The European Food and Safety Agency has decided to recommend fructose on the basis that it has a lower glycemic index than glucose but fructose has been shown to be seriously damaging to human health.
Here is a link to an article that explains the science and shows how this is a potentially catastrophic mistake by the EFSA.

Moral Integrity in the context of the leaking of offical secrets etc.
Moral Integrity is real and essential
to the proper operation of society. This moral integrity is lost in
organisations whether they be offical government organisations or
commercial organisations. How this happens is demonstrated and
discussed in the book “Moral Mazes” by Robert Jackall.

But the
result is that moral perspective is gradually lost the higher one
rises in such an organisation. What happens is that within
organisations an organisation-centric code of behaviour replaces
moral integrity.

This process is well discussed in this
excellent New York Times blog by Peter Ludlow
http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/09/15/the-banality-of-systemic-evil/?_r=0
As a society, we need to become aware
of how and why people working in organisations lose their moral
compass and be sensitive to the difference between their perspective
and the real moral compass that everyone outside of such an
organisation has.
Here is an example of organisation
thinking:
Where is your thinking ?
And another thing. People also lose their moral sense when they are part of a crowd. The crowd dynamic takes them over and people become capable of doing evil things that they would never have done without the presence of the crowd modifying their morality. Who then in a crowd is capable of retaining a proper moral compass? Well look at this example. The only person in the crowd who retained her proper moral compass was the youngest person in the crowd: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-24653643

The USA is not a democracy.
Why do I make this outrageous sounding claim that the USA is not a democracy ? Because it is a flawed democracy and the flaw is so huge it undermines the democratic process itself. Please let me explain. The US has forgotten one simple piece of common sense: "Whoever pays the piper, calls the tune." And in the USA, the politicians are paid. The guys paying them are controlling what they do and say and how they vote.
It comes about because each politician believes that he/she needs to advertize on television. The is expensive and outside the budget of the majority of politicians. So they require donations in order to advertise themselves on TV. These donations are huge and come from corporations and businesses who want to have a voice, indeed a vote, in Congress. These are called "soft money" donations and go indirectly to the candidate via a super PAC. But don't doubt that the candidate is made very aware of who he/she is now working for. The vote so purchased may be shared between several corporations who negotiate between themselves how their vote will be used and what their man or woman will say in Congress.
It is completely irrelevant whether the politician is a Democrat or a Republican, that is just a layer of paint as it were. The politician belongs to and represents solely the corporations that paid for his/her TV advertizing. The electorate don't count because that is a vote, it is not money.
Now what can the USA do about this ? Well you can't work within the system because once a politician has accepted "soft money" they will never vote not to. The only possibility is to set up a grass roots movement that must become nationwide and at each election have candidates that don't advertize on TV. They can have public meetings and get their message across through conventional use of the media but without TV advertizing. And the message throughout is that if a candidate has a TV advert, that politician will never do more than lip service to his electorate. He/She just works for the corporations that paid for his/her TV adverts.
